the parting

"Want to feel the pulse of London life, of Laos, Chile, and more? Want to savour a chic sense of design, superbly crafted images, that sing with the vibrancy of life in its multiple dimensions?  Then dwell on Anne Clements' work, which is like a supercharged narcotic to the eyes.  It provides us with a cornucopia of creative vitality, carried through with a craftsmanship that attests the determined ability to do what it takes to realize one's vision--a task that can easily be underestimated. Dazzling and engaging work. Brava!"
Dr John Walford, Professor of Art History

"Anne Clements’ lens, in its travels, uncovers corners from Chile to Camden Town. Her attention to detail, wry choice of subject matter and playful sense of humour convey her love for life and make for a combination in rather short supply these days." Johnny Bull, artist

“Delightful photography: different, often wildly incongruous elements, beautifully photographed and ingeniously put together, to make images at once playful and elegant. The triptych of a modern young woman's progress – a fanciful tribute to the famous Francis Bacon picture -- is hilarious.” London Evening Standard

“Quirky and stimulating photographic exhibition of delightfully ludic images.” Wood and Vale

"Anne Clements has a great eye which is evident in her playful juxtapositions and montages."
The London Paper

"Don't Pass Me By contains strong individual images and I very much enjoyed this book. Adhering to a strict and consistent formal visual language, Anne plays with traditional perspectives and visual conventions."
